The lab in Czech Republic, they have been very active in the network from the beginning and also to meet fabbers around the world in Prague (one of the most beautiful cities I have only seen online but never visited ). The people are lovely and friendly too.

Workshop, connecting with Fab friends

During Fab25, I aim to contribute to the network by developing landscaping and interior design projects that reconnect people with nature in a playful, stress-free way—eliminating the maintenance worries that some plant owners experience. To achieve this, I focused my Fab Academy final project, Fab&Plant, an interactive living frame that uses sensors to communicate the plants’ watering needs.

I most look forward to seeing all the fab lab people, learning from them and getting inspired by them.

Show the results of the ruway tech initiative, which is to bring mobile FABLABs together with the Ministry of Development and Vulnerable Populations to more than 5,000 children throughout Peru

I hope to see more artisanal projects that involve the community and the use of CNC machines, particularly those that have a positive impact on the environment and the local community. Additionally, I value effective communication and collaboration between people from different regions of the world, so we can exchange knowledge and experiences, strengthening the Fab City movement globally. These initiatives are essential for combining technological innovation with sustainable practices and community engagement.

Deepen relationships and collaborations with the different fablabs that I met when hosting a City Challenge venue.

Fab24 was my fist Fab conference. However, I loved meeting all the people and getting to know what people do in the Fab community. Some technologies are so awesome and astonishing! I look forward to that in Fab25 as well. Additionally, I hope the shorter travel is more convenient than for Fab24. Last but not least, I have always enjoyed to get to know the czech republic, it’s beer, it’s history and the culture in general! That is also what I look forward!

Estoy increíblemente emocionado por el futuro de la fabricación digital y lo que este evento representa: un movimiento imparable que está revolucionando la manera en que creamos, compartimos y colaboramos a nivel global. As a passionate advocate for digital fabrication and education, I’m most looking forward to the opportunity FAB2025 will provide to connect with like-minded innovators and educators from around the world. I’m particularly excited about exploring new trends and technologies that can enhance initiatives like Tinki Lab and our Digitoys workshop, where we empower children to transform their creativity into tangible 3D objects. Additionally, FAB2025 will be invaluable for gathering insights and forging collaborations that will help expand our ongoing ‘FABEANDO’ program, which aims to equip adolescents with the skills to become the next generation of makers and problem solvers.

This year, I am looking forward to an even more dynamic and collaborative atmosphere at the global maker technology and FabLabs event. Building on the successes of last year’s event, I expect to see a stronger emphasis on innovation, knowledge-sharing, and cross-cultural collaboration.

One of the key improvements I hope to see is a more structured approach to workshops and presentations, with clear tracks for different skill levels and areas of interest. This would help participants navigate the event more effectively and ensure that everyone, from beginners to experts, can gain valuable insights.

Additionally, I would like to see increased opportunities for hands-on learning and experimentation, perhaps through extended lab sessions or project-based challenges that span multiple days. Networking should also be enhanced with more targeted sessions, allowing for deeper connections between participants with similar interests or complementary skills.

Lastly, I’d like to see a more robust follow-up process post-event, where participants can continue to engage with the content and each other, fostering long-term collaboration and innovation.

As an emerging initiative, we’re in the early stages of establishing a FabLab in Teziutlán, focused on empowering underprivileged youth through digital fabrication and innovation. What excites me most about FAB25 is the opportunity to learn from established FabLabs around the world, gaining insights into best practices, successful community engagement strategies, and innovative educational programs. I’m eager to connect with experts and peers who can provide guidance and inspiration as we work to turn our vision into reality. FAB25 represents a critical step in our journey to create a space where young people in Teziutlán can access the tools and knowledge they need to build a brighter future.

I’m interested in technical workshops and visits to enterprises.

What I am most looking forward to at FAB25 is the opportunity to revolutionize my robotics and electronics projects with the incorporation of advanced 3D printing technologies. As an electronics and communications engineer and professor at the Universidad Tecnológica de Puebla, I am constantly looking for innovative ways to teach and develop new devices. The possibility of having access to a 3D printer like the one at FAB25 will allow me to materialize complex prototypes accurately and quickly, optimizing both the design and implementation process. This will not only benefit my own projects, but also the education of my students, who will be able to see firsthand how an idea is transformed into a tangible product. In addition, the 3D printer will be an essential tool in my path to entrepreneurship in the design and manufacturing of electronics and robotics projects. Being able to produce custom parts and tailored solutions will be a key differentiator in a competitive market. In short, FAB25 represents an opportunity for growth and development in both the educational and professional fields, allowing me to explore new frontiers in technological innovation and contribute significantly to the advancement of science and technology.
